Roles and Permissions

Manage your team's roles and permissions to in order to leverage sFOX across your organization and service providers

Teams utilizing sFOX have team members that require certain permissions to perform their roles. sFOX has designed roles and permissions such that teams may confidently share permissioned access across internal or external team members to achieve their goals.

Role and Permission Types

Basic Functionality

All users, regardless of their role and permissions may:

  • Read and download reports from the account

  • View the trading platform

  • Generate API keys carrying their respective permissions

To limit a user's access to only these functions, grant Read Only permissions.

Advanced Functionality

The following types of roles and permissions can be enabled or disabled for any team member:

  • Admin. Full access to the sFOX account, including the ability to add, remove, and modify the roles of other team members.

  • Trade. Trade funds within the sFOX account.

  • Deposit. Deposit new funds into the sFOX account

  • Withdraw. Withdraw funds from sFOX to external accounts

  • Alter SAFE Settings. Create workflow automation rules within the SAFE tab (https://trade.sfox.com/safe/settings). Only visible to SAFE customers.

  • Approve/Reject. Approve/Reject workflow automation actions waiting on response. (https://trade.sfox.com/safe/approvals). Only visible to SAFE customers.

  • Read-Only. Read and download account history

  • Delete. Delete user access

Reviewing Account Permissions

Current team members and corresponding permissions are displayed on the Manage Users page https://trade.sfox.com/team. Admins may add, remove, modify, or delete existing team members and their associated permissions.

SAFE customers may additionally define workflow automation rules requiring multiple approvers to change team permissions.

Unauthorized Actions

If a user attempts an action that is not authorized, the action will with be grayed-out on the user's screen or it will prompt the user to contact their organization administrator to request a change in roles.

One of your organization's administrators can change your roles and permissions if needed.
