Smart-Routing-Powered market orders

A market order is a buy or sell order that is meant to execute as quickly as possible at the present market price. A market order is used when speed of execution is a high priority. For instance, if the Bitcoin mid-market price is $10,000 and a trader places a market order to buy bitcoin; the order will attempt to execute at the best available ask price (which will likely be at or slightly above $10,000).

sFOX market orders route between exchanges for smarter execution

sFOX market orders can route between exchanges for smarter execution. These market orders won't simply sit on a single order book, they'll intelligently switch between exchanges based on which exchange has the best prices and highest likelihood of executing your order.

How to place a market order on sFOX

  • Fill the "Buy Total" field for the USD (or BTC on crypto-to-crypto pairs) order size

  • Click the green "Buy" or red "Sell" button
