How to accept your recent invite to an sFOX account?

You have been invited to be a collaborator on an sFOX account. Please be sure to accept the invite before it expires in 30 days and follow the steps below.

You don’t have an sFOX account yet

If you are new to sFOX, you are asked to create a basic profile after accepting the invite. This includes creating a password and submitting your phone number and date of birth. Following your account creation, you will access the account that you have been invited to in the UI as a collaborator.

You already have an sFOX account

If you already have a registered sFOX account, or already are a collaborator on an existing sFOX account, the account you’ve been invited to will be added to the UI as a Separately Managed Account (SMA). After accepting the invite, you’ll be directed to sFOX’s UI where you’re asked to log in to your account. Following your log in, you’re able to switch between accounts by clicking on your name in the upper right hand corner.

In the dropdown menu, you can select the account that you need to access.

Roles and permissions

Collaborators on an account can have different permissions in the account. Depending on the permissions you have been granted by the admin, you are allowed to take specific actions on the account. Below is a list of the different account permissions and the actions you’re allowed to take, divided in basic functionality and advanced functionality.

Basic functionality

All users on an account, regardless of their permissions, may:

  • Read and download reports from the account

  • View the trading platform

  • Generate API keys carrying the respective permissions
    (Generated API keys will always correspond to the permissions of a user)

If you have been granted Read Only permissions, your account is limited to the basic functionalities.

Advanced functionality

On top of the basic functionality, you can be granted with one or more of the additional permissions below:

  • Trade. You can buy and sell assets within the sFOX account.

  • Deposit. You can deposit new funds into the sFOX account.

  • Withdraw. You can withdraw funds from the sFOX account.

  • Alter SAFE Settings. You can create workflow automation rules for the account within the SAFE tab. **

  • Approve/Reject. You can approve and reject workflow automation actions that are waiting for response. **

**This is only visible and available to SAFE Customers of sFOX

If your current permissions don’t match the actions you’re supposed to take on the sFOX account, you can reach out to the admin of the account to give you additional permissions.
